Abstract:
Community capacity has become an important construct in public health and prevention efforts. A capacity assessment is part of the Strategic Prevention Framework, the five-step process mandated by CSAP. Grantees are required to (a) review existing resources and assets (financial, human, and organizational) and (b) assess community readiness (U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, 2006). This report summarizes the findings of the 2007 Indiana Community Readiness Survey.
