Abstract:
This proposal suggests a comprehensive broadband stimulus package. The proposal includes grants to build broadband in unserved areas, providing aid to help low-income users gain access, improving infrastructure in urban areas and funds to help libraries and community centers offer free broadband and technology training to citizens. Through these strategies, we can immediately create tens of thousands of new jobs and subsequently millions by sparking whole new wave of broadband adoption.
