Abstract:
The so-called DREAM Act contains numerous provisions that reward illegal aliens for violating federal immigration law. It also expressly shields 10 states from liability for their past violations of federal law. Moreover, it would create a massive amnesty by opening a wide path to citizenship for any alien who entered the country before the age of 16.
