The author looks back on the century that has passed since the founding of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in 1906. He discusses AJC's founding, its founders, its purposes, and its many achievements. The author further outlines in brief the situation of the present world vis-a-vis AJC's interests, and discusses the possibilities and challenges facing AJC in the coming century.
