Abstract:
These comments, sent to the Child Care Bureau on January 8, 2005, respond to the proposed changes to the matching requirements in the Child Care and Development Block Grant. CLASP is concerned that the proposed changes could lead to reduced accountability and the potential for fraud and misexpenditures. The comments outline the areas of concern and suggest alternative approaches.
