Abstract:
This rationale presents research on the effects of ratios and groups sizes on babies in family child care. As part of the Charting Progress for Babies in Child Care project, this rationale supports the Policy FrameworkÂ’s Recommendation #7: Ensure babies and toddlers in family child care are in small groups with sufficient numbers of providers.
