Abstract:
This article appeared in the Spring 2001 issue of Management and Information Exchange, which focused on 21st century justice tools. The article explores the intersection of the digital divide and legal services work, describing factors preventing low-income and minority people and communities from participating fully in the information age. The article also recommends how the legal services community can most effectively leverage these new resources and technologies to benefit client communities.
