Abstract:
These comments, submitted to the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor, discuss the proposed new method of data collection for 12 employment and training programsthe EMILE system. While CLASP believes the EMILE system will both provide richer data about program participation across 12 employment and training programs, CLASP is also concerned that not enough attention has been given to defining the various data elements and that the proposal does not provide any new funding to develop and implement the new reporting system.
