Deepak Bhargava and Janice Fine of the Center for Community Change explain recent trends in the low-wage labor market, particularly as they relate to immigrants (both legal and undocumented); comment on the prospects for immigration reform on Capitol Hill; and describe new advocacy efforts on the local and national levels to improve conditions for struggling immigrants and other low-wage workers.
