Abstract:
This document was submitted for the record regarding the public hearing on Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Welfare that was held on Thursday, November 15, 2001. The hearing was called by Chairman Wally Herger (R-CA) of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources. Many of the hearing witnesses focused on the abstinence program established in 1996. In CLASPÂ’s submission for the record, we concentrate on issues relating to this program.
