Abstract:
These comments were submitted to the Department of Labor on June 28, 2002, regarding the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and linkages with the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant. The comments suggest changes in WIA to improve access to quality training programs, improve quality of information about program implementation and performance, and improve coordination between WIA and TANF.
