Abstract:
JESNA (Jewish Education Service of North America) presents results of a large-scale study of educators in Jewish day schools and supplementary schools. The objective of the study was to answer to the following questions: (1) who are the educators in Jewish school? (2) What led them to a career in Jewish education? (3) How do they perceive their current position? (4) What factors influence their decision to remain in the field? The authors answer these questions in detail.
