Abstract:
JESNA (Jewish Education Service of North America) Spotlight papers are intended to provide funders and other community leaders with a brief overview of important areas in Jewish education. This paper covers the revival of adult Jewish education (also commonly called lifelong learning) programs that has taken place in North America since the 1970s. The authors outline common types and models of program, logistic and financial considerations and some notions of how the movement will develop.
