Abstract:

The author discusses a community-wide teen outreach program spearheaded by the United Jewish Federation of Metro West, NJ called the Teen Initiative for Maximum Engagement (TIME). The author details elements of the initiative that make it successful, including partnerships with synagogues and Jewish community centers, as well as careful attention to supervision, training and support.
