Abstract:
Thousands of Jews live in fear around the world, the author explains, in places such as Arab countries, Africa, the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Jews face danger from anti-Semitism, violence, ethnic tension, instability and “culturocide.†Some Jews in jeopardy are prevented from emigrating by their governments, while others choose to remain because of age, material ties and other factors. The Jewish community must remain informed about these communities and remain committed to assisting and rescuing them.
