Abstract:
The study that this report describes was designed in order to sensitize middle-aged people to the needs of the elderly. It also aims to bring participants' own feelings toward their aging parents to the surface, and to provide a forum for participants to discuss alternative behaviors in dealing with aging parents. The study analyzes some of the benefits of using the laboratory method to gather this data, which the authors assert ensures greater accuracy.
