Abstract:
This article outlines a study that examines two geriatric intermediate care facilities. The study analyzes and compares the two facilities in order to determine which of the two possesses the most comprehensively effective practices. From this analysis, the authors determine that many inpatients are being prescribed incorrect treatments. Using the results and patient data from the two institutions, the author is able to recommend a medically relevant group residency model for treating elderly patients.
