Abstract:
The long-range goal of the Multipurpose Senior Services Project in the family agency (if the data support the concept of cost-effective in-home care), is the provision of such services to all "frail" elderly. Medicare and medicaid would need to be revised, government agencies restructured, and case management programs developed.
