Report on the lessons learned from KatrinaHealth, an online service established to help individuals and their health care providers access prescription and other medical information in the aftermath of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster. Includes a description of the storm and its impact, the primary hurdles KatrinaHealth faced, concerns about national disaster response, the context for disaster response, and recommendations in anticipation of future disasters.
