Abstract:

This study is based on over 4,500 survey interviews of Jewish households in the metropolitan New York area. The authors review historical data on New York Jewish population estimates before presenting the 2002 Jewish household and population estimates, demography, and data on vulnerable Jewish populations, Jewish connections, intermarriage and philanthropy.
