Abstract:
Because the Jewish community is experiencing an era of change and active experimentation, the author contends, the field cannot be sure of "what will work," New programs, she asserts, represent the "best guesses" of program providers, funders and policy makers; thus, there is greater need for program evaluation now than there was in the past. The author discusses three models for program evaluation: non-formal, informal and formal.
