Abstract:
The author identifies models of excellence for Jewish supplementary school education and documents outstanding educational work that is currently taking place. He asserts that there is a general feeling in the Jewish community that supplementary schools have not succeeded. Since the majority of Jewish children are educated in supplementary schools, he calls for more schools to learn from best practices in the field.
