Abstract:
Since 1955, Yad Vashem has collected "Pages of Testimony" about the identities of Jews killed in the Holocaust, the author explains. Now, she reports, a number of Jewish children have chosen to make these Pages of Testimony the focus of special Bar/Bat Mitzvah projects, finding survivors and their families in the childrens' communities and encouraging them to submit Pages of Testimony. The author describes the projects undertaken so far and provides further sources of information on how such a project can be initiated.
