Abstract:
The Jewish community is lagging behind some other religious groups when it comes to environmental issues, the author asserts. She examines several ideas which she perceives to be "obstacles" to Jewish environmental action and suggests "opportunities" corresponding to each which can allow the Jewish community to work with other faith groups to work for environmental good.
