Abstract:
The author discusses the development of Me'ah, a two-year curriculum-based program to teach adults Jewish text, history and ideas. Me'ah relies both on a commitment to continuity and an openness to change, the author contends. He discusses the program's development regarding vision, reflection, planning, collaboration and what it means to create a sacred community.
