Abstract:

This briefing paper relies on results of the 2000-2001 National Jewish Population Survey (NJPS) to provide statistics related to Jewish Community Center (JCC) membership. The data show that large numbers of American Jews are JCC members and participants in JCC programming. The JCC movement is the largest movement in American Jewish life today in terms of membership.
