Abstract:
The authors suggest a new approach to building a new cohort of expert Judaic studies teachers highly competent both in Judaics and in pedagogy. Their idea: a seven-stage career development ladder to shepherd interested young Jews from the roles of counselor or student leader to the role of expert teacher.
