Abstract:
This newsletter highlights the generational research funded by the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies (ACBP). The substance of it is a report released by Steven M. Cohen and Ari Y. Kelman entitled Continuity of Discontinuity: How Young Jews are Connecting, Creating and Organizing their own Jewish Lives. Jeffrey Solomon, president of the ACBP asks readers to remember that these new modes of Jewish life are important for the next generation to invent, or reinvent. And that in the not too distant past, we too were reclaiming our Jewish identity and practice in similar, yet different ways.
