Abstract:
The author presents recommendations for Jewish Community Center program directors in search of programming about Israel. He suggests that in addition to well-known speakers and personalities for lecture programs, centers should consider local Zionist leaders as well as visiting Israeli scientists, writers, artists and others. The author suggests specific books and films around which programs can be built, and outlines models of developing resources for self-activity.
