Abstract:

Upcoming years are likely to bring a tightening of college admissions standards, the author predicts. He outlines the evidence supporting this prediction and discusses implications for Jewish communal organizations seeking to help Jewish youth to become educated and find successful employment. Among the author's recommendations is group counseling for high-school students to supplement the work of school guidance departments.
