Abstract:

The authors review the history and present trends of Jewish identity and the Jewish communal field, as well as the changing nature of the Jewish family and the nature of Jewish affiliation. They explore the myriad responsibilities of the Jewish communal worker vis-a-vis the social and societal values of their clients.
