Abstract:

The authors, representing the Professional Education Committee of the National Association of Jewish Center Workers, present the methodology and results of a study designed to ascertain the characteristics of content and emphases for professional education which ought to be acceptable to most group work practitioners in Jewish agencies. Among the elements receiving wide support from study participants were those elements which help to foster leadership, Jewish identity, and Jewish culture.
