Abstract:
The author discusses the experience of her agency, Louise Wise Services in New York, with post-adoptive programming, both for adoptive parents coping with family issues, and for adult adoptees seeking knowledge of their biological parents. The author explains that her agency initiated the programs in response to the needs of these two groups of clients, and developed a series of individual and group counseling programs.
