Abstract:
This article describes the evolution of linkages between the Jewish communities of Chicago and Buenos Aires that enabled Chicago to respond quickly and proactively to the Argentinian crisis. This relationship was fostered by professional and volunteer exchanges, solidarity visits, and missions. It has yielded many mutual benefits and rewards for both communities.
