Abstract:
While reengineering has revolutionized the business world, its theory has limitations when applied to the nonprofit sector. Reengineering works best when set in a self-contained environment in which leadership emanates from one source, far-reaching decisions can be made swiftly and suddenly, and every worker is empowered to carry out the mission of the corporation.
