Abstract:
These three in-depth case studies explore how the uniqueness of each synagogue observed - its organizational structure, personalities, dynamics, culture, and context - affected the course and outcome of the Experiment in Congregational Education's RE-IMAGINE Project (REI). The RE-IMAGINE Project offers an elaborated curriculum to facilitate the process of transforming religious education in Reform, Reconstructionist, Conservative, and unaffiliated congregational schools throughout the New York area.
