Abstract:

Part of a series of reports based on information from the National Jewish Population Survey of 2000-01, this slide presentation highlights demographic information regarding Jews living in New Jersey, as compared to the metropolitan New York area, the Northeast as a whole, and the US as a whole. The report discusses the population's estimated size, age distribution, denominational affiliations, synagogue memberships, ritual participation, philanthropy, intermarriage, connection to Israel, Jewish education, and socio-economic status.
