Abstract:
The author argues that diversity flourishes in Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) because they are firmly rooted in pluralism and non-denominationalism. She notes the pluralistic approaches in the areas of families, intergenerational programming, Jewish values, and learning styles. She concludes that pluralism is a hallmark of the JCC, in that it is a central address for Jewish life within individual communities.
