Abstract:

The author describes recent activities of the Jewish community in Scranton, including the implementation of classes in English to help Americanize foreign girls and the dedication of a new building by the Young Men's Hebrew Association. The new building will house several social, educational, and athletic activities as well as the headquarters of the Federated Jewish Charities of Scranton.
