The two year old Society, funded by the Baroness de Hirsch administration and the Jewish Colonization Association of Paris, aims to remove Jews from crowded city ghettos and assist them in establishing their career in smaller cities and country towns or in becoming farmers in the country. The author explains the structure and methods of the Society.
