Abstract:
The author describes the Peace Society created originally by the girls of the Post-Biblical History class at the Chicago Hebrew Institute in the wake of the beginning of the Great War, its phenomenal growth, and describes how Jewish teachers can emphasize the peaceful messages in Jewish and Biblical texts in order to encourage this movement.
