The author describes the most recent East Side Forum, a series of meetings and events attended by over thirty-thousand people. A series of classes connected to the Forum and under the charge of instructors from the College of the City of New York give promise to increased educational opportunities, including the possibility of the creation of a “people’s university†affiliated with the City College.
