Abstract:

The author introduces the new Jewish center planned for the Upper West Side of New York, which aims to be different in that it will be aimed at all ages and will be strictly Judaic in character. In addition, it will host New York's first Jewish kindergarten, as well as a Talmud Torah, a lecture hall, a full health and recreation center, including a swimming pool, and a strictly kosher kitchen.
