Abstract:
The author announces the dedication of the Hebrew Technical Institute's new annex in New York. The Institute is intended primarily for poor boys of New York City and educates 300 boys in the day school and seventy men in the evenings, for a total cost of $60,000 per year. No family of a graduate of the Institute has sought relief from the network of Jewish charities after the boy's graduation. Other community agencies, like the Educational Alliance, the Teacher's Institute, and the Council of Jewish Women, will also share in the use of the new building.
