Abstract:

After describing the creation and goals of the Baltimore Big Brother League, the author describes in detail its organizational structure, which, through the Training Committee, coordinates representatives from the Federated Jewish Charities, the Hebrew Sheltering Home, the Jewish Educational Alliance, the Hebrew Benevolent Society, the Juvenile Court, the Bureau of Permits of the Bureau of Statistics, and the School Attendance Department. This committee is also responsible for the recruitment, training, and support of Big Brothers.
