Abstract:
The author announces a citizenship survey to be conducted by the Civics and Citizenship Department of the Chicago Hebrew Institute. The survey will find out which of the Jews of the city are or are not citizens, and if they are not, why not. Simultaneously with the survey, an information sheet in English and in Yiddish will be distributed that informs households of the advantages of becoming a citizen, as well as of the aid that the Civics and Citizenship Department offers both with acquiring citizenship and with enforcing civil and municipal rights.
