The author describes the Chicago Conference of Jewish Women's Organizations, which is in its third year. Founded to coordinate the work of Chicago's many women's clubs, it now comprises sixty-one affiliated bodies. In addition to an annual meeting, the Conference has begun the practice of Conference days, one a month, where one institution presents its work and special areas of attention. The Conference has been very successful and building ties and fostering collaboration and thus greater efficacy among groups, at raising awareness and bringing in experts and leaders as well as developing among expertise and leadership among its members, and at generally fostering unity in Chicago's diverse Jewish community.
