Abstract:
The author describes the new orientation that the Independent Order of B'nai B'rith (I.O.B.B.) will take in continuing its extensive philanthropic work. Rather than focusing on building new institutions, it will aim to improve and expand existing ones, with special focus on preventative and constructive work such as the Big Brother movement, finding employment for rehabilitated Jewish prisoners, and increasing services and recreation for impoverished youth.
