Abstract:
Not only does a bi-lingual newspaper help the emigre to understand the American Jewish culture; perhaps just as important, is the fact that the host community learns through this medium just how different the emigre's native culture was from that of the Russia of the early 1900's which many Americans knew.
In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, v.57 no.1, Fall 1980.
