Abstract:
The author examines the evolving roles and functions of Jewish community centers around the world, and discusses commonalities that override the contextual variations among centers in different parts of the world. These commonalities include serving a diverse range of Jewish clients with a commitment to pluralism, outreach and opportunities for participation.
